On Feb 10th, the mask mandate got dropped for all of NV. BUT, employees are still wearing them. It's still surreal going to a store and be bare-faced like many of the other customers. Meanwhile the partitions are still in place at the registrar and employees masked for the most part.

I really don't know what's going on with covid anymore. Cases are down, however it's still very active?

There's another sub-variant reported so it's still very active. They're letting mandates go a little too early.

Great, just great. Hopefully, kids getting vaccinated helps curb it. Even better if the 5 and under vaccine gets approved soon.

Covid is now classed as political theater, it is no longer a pandemic. This is based on the poll numbers and has no basis in scientific fact which is that the vaccine only prevents death or hospitalization not the actual spread of Covid. The underlying theme is that since we are all going to catch it anyway, live your good life.

And here we are.

We have still very high incidences but the government still made a plan to get rid of the restrictions ... I really don't get it.

I still wear my damn mask if I leave my apt and only take it off if I'm eating or drinking or if I'm at someone's house when I know everybody's had their shots.

I'm vaccinated got boosted back in mid January, and don't have any underlying issues. Have gone maskless recently in a few stores that only had a few others roaming around and we weren't in each others space.

Do carry a mask around with me just in case. Wore one when had my taxes done. Had the option of not wearing it, but due to being in an enclosed space for 30 some minutes and out of respect for the preparer (there was a partition between us and he wore a mask too) went ahead and put it on.

It sucks we still have to be on the alert, thanks to the anti-mask/vaxxers.
