Vampires and Santa??!!!

zimon66Last night, I was on Amazon for a number of hours seeing what was availible title-wise on DVD - mostly looking for Xmas gifts. Found a few titles for myself - must get Jean Rollin's "Two Orphan Vampires" and "Living Dead Girl". One thing that bugs me - all of the Rollin movies have the WORST cover-art - looks like cheapo horror-porn. Ok, Rollin's movies are meant 100% for adults and have various forms of female nudity in them, but good Gods they don't deserve such TACKY covers!!!
Today, went back to the *shudders* the mall to pick-up my new contacts. Saw something most disturbing while there - Santa Claus. Wasn't seeing him that was disturbing, it was knowing what the date was Nov. 24 - it's not even Thanksgiving yet and already the mall has Santa out!!! Call me old-fashion, but important Xmas related things should be making their appearence in Dec. - actually skipped watching "Rudolf" last year because it was being shown in Nov. right after Thanksgiving???!!! Nothing is sacred anymore, wouldn't be surprise if somebody has the 3 Wise Men hawking cars right around this time.
Update on the stupid Vampire Group mentioned in earlier posts - membership is up to 512 and the posting has slowed greatly. What people are posting are pretty much the same ones that have been posting the last few days and they're still squabbling amongst themselves. Oh yeah, this Group is going to make major changes in the Vampire World *snort*
Meanwhile - I'm updating the VK2 Description so it's more friendly and makes a mention of Psi Vampires. The Psis don't really have anything Group-wise online so they're joining Vampire Groups that are mostly Sang/Lifestyler/ and or General Vampire Interest and run the risk of getting looked down upon and or verbally abused. It's sad how much negative info is out there on Psis - the truth is the majority of Psis are not any danger to others. I myself am not Vampiric in case anyone was wondering. I get along pretty well with Vampires and like being in their company. Guess it's because in my former Dragon-Life I was interacting with them on a regular basis *shrugs*
