Hooboy, re the last entry: Cool Pope Francis death putting a damper on Annoying Orange's egg roll - that worked better than getting rained out. Days of Worlds' attention focused solely on everything Beloved Francis, and Dipshit Donnie getting next to nothing. You know Mr. Needy for Attention was stomping around the Oval Office having fits. Plus Elno running off with his tail between his legs, and the non-stop downward slide in President ratings, WHAT A GREAT WEEK!!!

The VP going from "Couch-f**ker" to "Pope Killer" is a nice cherry on top.

Enough (for now) about those losers.


The "NV Lock the Clock" passed the Assembly (27 in favor and 15 against)! Now has to go state Senate. No clue when that vote happens


Spent Saturday watching all of "Helluva Boss". Amazon Prime made a major score on airing the next two seasons (month later show on YouTube). Already raked in big ratings with "Hazbin Hotel".

This is a HUGE deal in more ways than one. Adults like animation, even when the material is not "adult". Perfect example: "Bluey", many child-free adults (this includes me) happily watch this show, it's that good. The dismissive "cartoons are for kids" is a load of BS. Who do think the majority is that's buying the merchandise? Who do you think the majority of hobbyists/collectors are? Who do you think are over on Reddit having in-depth discussions? Who do you think are writing the fan-fiction? Doing fan-art? The conventions? A whole lot of adults, that's who.

WB's CEO Zaslav scewing over the company's animation because he believes the "Just for kids" - Amazon and Youtube are going to make major bank, Zaslav gets more egg on his face.

For us animation loving adults, it means more animated stuff possibly getting green-lit - Woot!

I love Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. The design and colour keys are fab! Sometimes I cry for what I could have accomplished had we had internet and crowdsourcing back in the day. I don’t have the care or energy to output the way I would have 20 years ago, as well!

I much prefer working on adult content. I was anim director on 2 seasons of Celebrity Deathmatch, and the first season of Rick & Steve. Those were the days! Kid stuff is dull, and so full of rules.
