Miss the days when the holidays more or less stayed in their appointed time lanes. In August, Halloween candy was on the shelf - AUGUST!!! Who is buying candy at that time and during the hottest month in the year? This is the first time I've seen Halloween hit so early.

Of course, Xmas takes the cake on being in your face 24/7 starting mid October. If it weren't for pumpkins sticking around past October and Black Friday creep, nobody would remember Thanksgiving. Frozen turkeys are no help, because can get them throughout the year.

In other news: Weather is pleasant here, which I can't really enjoy because will get my hopes up that it won't change and Winter won't be cold dark deary shitfest. That it will be comfortably cool with rain, not freezing with snow and ice.

Thanks to current weather, time change was easier to handle. Still wish the measure to permanently end DS in NV had passed. Someday, someday, someday.

This. Why wait until after Thanksgiving? The holiday madness in October needs to stop.

I handled the time change a lot easier this year.

I think it's even worse here as Halloween isn't such a big thing and we don't have Thanksgiving at all.

I abhor DST. I'm ready to never change the clocks forward again.
