zimon66: (Spectra Soldier)
Monday - battery dead in car, called first work to let them know I was going to be late, then called brother-in-law for help. Took a couple of hours for him to take out the old and put in the new thanx to the connects deciding that over time they wanted to be a close as permament part of the previous battery. After that was done, went to bank to deposit a couple of checks, went to get gas, off to work and did some overtime. Afterwards, went to PetCo to get 40lb bag of dogfood (Robin maybe 13 year old lab-mix but she still has a good appetite) also stopped off in Barnes&Noble and bought Jonathan Carroll's "Bones of the Moon" (I really enjoyed his "The Wooden Sea" so wanted to read another one of his books) and got for $9.99 originally $75.00 a big heavy mother of a coffee table book on the Great Auk - no joke, actual book and it is going on the coffee table at some point.

Tuesday - nothing of interest to report.

Wednesday - went to the weekly Goth Coffee Meet, usually we're pretty interesting but not that day. We were boring as hell and kinda grumpy/tired - did manage to get in a bit of real trivia gotten off the radio that the DJ suggested you bring up when there's a lull in the conversation "Did you know that when the Titanic sank it had 4500 lbs of ham aboard?" - it got a laugh. Also found out that a couple of the non-LJing locals know about my LJ via a couple of local LJers who have me on their Friend's List and vise versa and they actually read my LJ - man, I never thought I was particularly interesting to warrant that kind of attention, LOL, guess I should make it so non-LJers can comment in here again.

Thursday - OK, something odd going on - for the second day in a row I have awakened on my back with Alex (cat) sleeping on what would be my lap if sitting up. First time, shrugged it off, but the second.......OK, the only way I would sleep on my back is if I put myself in that position while awake. Am a side-sleeper so to go to bed in that position and wake-up on my back is W-E-I-R-D. Also adding to the oddness, Alex isn't one to sleep on me, that's something Trudy would do. Alex is the sort to curl-up next to you and for him to do otherwise.......freaky.

Friday - been in a off/on "mood" since about Wednesday. Didn't wake up under strange conditions for a third time in a row. "Tamara's Anime" - http://www.tamarasanime.com/ - the ONLY place online that had a decent pic of a Spectra Soldier (Which I have a copy saved on my system and use a cropped pic of here in my LJ sometimes), has gone the way of the dodo. Someday, I'm going to upgrade and be able to do good screen captures of Spectra Soldiers from the "Battle of the Planets/G-Force/Gatchaman" dvds from Rhino, then no more helpless bitching about how unfair it is that there's nothing but shitty pics of them online and if it wasn't for the Soldiers, G-Force wouldn't have much to do in the show!!!!

Saturday - went and got some things done in the early afternoon. Should have went back to bed to be rested-up for "Shadow Garden" later that night, but didn't - bad mistake!!! End result was the damn "mood" took over and I had to stay home. No way in hell I can be with others, couldn't even go online. When it's like that - need to be left ALONE!!! Can't even have my own pets getting close to me or INSTANT FREAK-OUT!!! I blame a combination of lack of proper sleep and dwelling on Kitsune. Not a pleasant night or early morning.

Sunday - still in a bad frame of mind. Lasted all day and all night. Actually got upset watching cave-couples snuggling on Discovery Channel's "Walking with Cavemen" turned channel to something else......."Fatal Attraction" on A&E oh I REALLY needed to stumble across that in my current state of feeling very unloved. "Adult Swim" didn't do much to improve my mood, still couldn't go near the computer, finally dragged my sorry self off the couch went to bed tossed and turned all night in spite of the Tylenol PM I took.

Today - did some inner fighting and won by lunch. Trimmed some srubs earlier and been online playing catch-up. One thing I had trouble checking-up on is my darling nephew's site - think AngelFire has some sort of glitch in it causing a "You can't view this page with your server" crap. Well it's working now - was afraid somebody was screwing with accessing his site again (yes, there are a few who do that also a few who try to impersonate him over on Yahoo in order to pick-up girls - been awhile since anybody has done either of those Thank the Gods.)

I like cheese, been eating Monterey Jack while being online:)
