The Hellsing doujinshi update -

This is something I'm seriously considering into becoming a hobby - already got 4 comics and currently got a bids on a couple more over on eBay.

Funny how I got into all this - is was while playing around a few weeks ago with Google looking for Hellsing fanart I came across this - http://www.witch-hunter.net/passion/links.html - well not quite that, it's under the personal pages called "Obsession" you need to look at. On the Obsession site I read/looked at the Hellsing stuff and got very interested.

So began the search for my getting Hellsing doujinshi which lead me into becoming a "eBayer", something I swore for years would NEVER do. Now I'm a eBay whore although nowhere near as big of one as le_chat_rose (LOL!!!)

Discovered something interesting about buying doujinshi on eBay, the seller doesn't have to post whether or not said item is "adult" so I got 2 hentais (lemon) by accident. There was nothing in the description/cover-art/page scan to clue me in what the subject manner was really about - so was I ever surprised at what came in the mail last week, LOL!!! Good thing I'm not the easily offend type, LOL!!!

Anyway, from near as I can tell, *everybody - involved seems to be willing and not forced into sex. Also until now, never pictured Rip and Schrodinger as being a "couple" - but they look pretty damn cute together.

Since these are Japanese fan comics they're in Japanese so I'm going to TRY and learn the language. Already ordered a copy of "The Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary" that has something to help with learning called "SKIP" (System of Kanji Indexing by Patterns) - supposedly, learn SKIP and it greatly helps in looking up/finding the particular characters you're looking for.

Got a co-worker who's familiar with the 4 different Japanese languages so going to take in one of the Shounen Normal/G Normal ("non-hentai") comics into work tomorrow and find out if it's Kanji and or some other things as well. Both his sons are pretty fluent with Japanese so if I get royally fed-up with trying to translate could have one of them do it.
