zimon66: (Liz Taylor grumpy (AHS: Hotel))
That line is from a commercial on the TV in the next room.

Did laundry earlier. Never fails, in removing Kleenex from pockets before tossing into the washer, 9 times out of 10 I'll miss a sheet. Then everything in the dryer looks like it's got dandruff.

Watched Stonewall (2015 version) last night for the sole reason of Jonny Beauchamp. Loved him and his character, Angelique (please be coming back as a ghost to haunt ingrate Dorian Gray and Boma/LilyBrideBitch aka "Livestock!") on Penny Dreadful. Got an overwhelming urge to see everything he's acted in, so Stonewall was a must.

Really liked him and his Ray/Ramona in that. Didn't care for the "corn-fed outsider" acting as the audience POV, who also threw the first brick???!!! DUMB move, openly gay director.

Why the hell the movie couldn't be centered on the Christopher Street group and skip adding the completely unnecessary outsider? I wanted to see much more of them and their day-to-day lives and struggles. Thanks to outsider (who's story has been done many times before in other movies) they were reduce to bit players.

Overall, it wasn't a bad movie, but not very good either. So much potential there that got reduced to glimmers.
