Can you dig it!

Last Friday, was doing my daily perusing of AVClub and Ooohh! A write-up on The Warriors!!! As usual with any very interesting post, I must go thru ALL the comments. Took the better part of half an hour. Not surprising. Popular site posts on a popular cult classic, hell yeah gonna get whole lot of responses.

Those 30 minutes were totally well spent, cause wouldn't have found out Netflix is streaming it! Rewatch is a must now!

So I did. And ever since then, not only have I been rendered The Warriors over the moon happy, I made Cyrus's catchphrase mine. Either say it or think it at least once everyday since July 1st.

Found pre-2005 (any releases dated said year or after are the director's cut with the comic book like inserted scenes that pretty much nobody likes) dvd release for $19.95 on Amazon! Arriving this Friday! Hopefully, really is the theatrical cut and not a bait&switch. If it is the correct one, I may spring the five bucks (yep, current release is that cheap - gee, wonder why) for the universally hated director's, just to see how bad it is.
