Got a big problem with Big Miracle aka "Movie with three trapped whales".

I watched the real life incident this movie's based on. News was all over this almost as much as Baby Jessica. Updates 24/7. There was no romance blossoming and NO children around. It was all adults (even the whales were adult looking, no darling little cute calf present) and from what I could tell (cold out there, everybody's bundled up) mainly men - some of them Eskimos. The actual rescue wasn't all that dramatic for the most part either: Few guys with chainsaws and poles, cutting slots in the ice. Slow, boring work on a looooonnnnnng sheet of ice.

What really puts a damper on the whole thing; this happens sometimes to gray whales. Not a one time occurrence for them to get trapped during the big freeze. Come the thaw, it's not weird to find bodies.

Want to slap the crap out of Hollywood. Don't need your sorry-ass retread of Free Willy.

I want to slap the crap out of Hollywood for what they're trying to do to the Internet and buying our Congress people. I'm REALLY sick of the copyright wars. :(

I find "A Dolphin Tale" and the story THAT'S based on a LOT more compelling. :)

I saw the ads for that and had it mixed up with another story where the whale died. At least this is better than that, but not by all that much.

Not a film I'd want to see in the first place.
