Last night, getting ready to settle in and read the latest Comedy Gold 90 Day Fiance recap&comments.

Hear a noise. Something machine-y/mechanical-y.

Goes quiet ("Maybe I imagine it?").

Again the noise.

Spend a half hour unplugging things, examining the smoke detector, re-plugging in, re-examining smoke detector, interrogating the new smart phone, unplugging again, suspecting the SkyScan Atomic Clock (accidentally set it's alarm function one time) - repeat. Up and down the hall, in and out of rooms, trying to pinpoint MUTHERFRICKINNOISE that's doing so intermittently ICANTFINDIT!!! WHERETHEHELLISIT???!!! OHMYSANITY!!!

After re-interrogation of smart phone. Shoving it back into my bag, MUTHERFRICKINNOISE right next to me on the dresser.

Old RAZR phone. Double checking that number was no longer present, and forgot to turn it off. Battery ran low, RAZR sounded off the alert.


In light of the crazy: Surprised Charles Manson's passing got pretty much mentioned in passing. Annoying Orange and #metoo are big news. But to overshadow major mark on history/pop icon/boogeyman/everybody know his name Charlie? WOW! Shows things are gettin realer and more depressing by the minute here. Hopefully good comes out of those two and soon.

Things are definitely getting realer and more depressing. Now I'm worried about net neutrality too. (I'm sure the Annoying Orange or at least his administration are to be blamed for that.)

Manson's dead, David Cassidy's dead, Net Neutrality is a few weeks away from ending, wake me up when we have a 46th president.

Well I'm glad you managed to track down the noise. That kind of thing drives me crazy. The last time turned out to be a weird new glitch in my sound machine. It took so many sleepless nights of wandering to pinpoint.

Manson's passing was pretty timely for me because I've been watching Mindhunter on Netflix and they talk about him. On the radio some interviewee said that nowadays everyone knows Manson but they forget about the murders. (Really?) He said Manson has conned a whole new generation into idolizing him, and I can't quite wrap my head around that one. Is it even true? Kids these days?

Good riddance to CM. Freak should have been executed shortly after being pronounced guilty.
The whole phone thing was pretty funny. I could see the B movie scenes playing out as u wrote about it.
