It snowed in the Sahara. The largest hot desert on Earth, got snow. Seriously!

Bunch of very knowledgeable science people have stated that 1)does happen, and 2)perfectly normal. I have to disagree due to the timing of this event occurring with all the crazy weather going on. Coincidence?


Fun fact: Australia, parts of it, do get snow.

NOOOOO, YOU DON'T!!! One of the few things I miss about living in Southern CA is the winter weather. You didn't have to worry about trying to get around outside on icy roads and walkways. No bone chilling cold either that can make your fingers and toes hurt.

This winter here in Reno, with the exception of a few days has been warm and rainy. I LOVE IT!!! Wouldn't mind "Southern CA winter" being a regular occurrence for the valley and snow stay up in the mountains.

I saw a nature documentary, these camels eat snow for water - two things you would never dream that go together.

Neither did I! High desert (where I am) do get snow (except this winter - other than a couple of snow days, it's warm and rainy so far).
