The temperature's going to shoot up in a few days. Wish Spring was longer or Winter shorter/warmer/snow&ice all stays up in Tahoe.

Got air conditioning now (since last year). Still not use to having it. Never had air conditioning growing up in Southern CA. When got too hot, used a fan. The windows were fixed with a drill hole & screw so could be ajar, but prevent late night break-ins (this was done because of Richard Ramirez aka "The Night Stalker"). Heat and humidity could be tolerated.

Here in Northern NV, when it get high 90's to 100, windows don't have hole & screw and fan isn't enough to cool off at night. After years of sweating it out, finally warmed up (haha) to air conditioning.

I wish didn't have to go pull its cover off, flip the breakers on, and switch indoor dial from "heat" to "cool". Winters being cold and dumping moisture, I keep expecting Summers to be milder and the surrounding foothills Spring green to stick around. But they never are, still wind up being hot, dry, and brown. Then the damn smoke from fires happening somewhere collect here thanks to inversion.

Already hate what Winter does here, can't Summer be different?

That climate sounds like hell on earth. I struggle with heat and humidity.

You describe our weather and Brandenburg was always smooth and fluffy.
Not anymore... I can relate so much!

Wet and cold winter sucks, hooot and dry summer sucks - and sping is way too short, atumn way too wet.... That weather is perfect to go on killing spree in our garden.
