The toilet is in love with me.

Had a small leak, dripping onto the floor. Determined it was one of the bolts (what attaches the tank to the bowl). Replaced both, simple but time consuming job - one side has all the works and water connection in the way. Cleaned and poked areas you normally don't. Had to go back a couple of times to tighten things up

Guess which side still has the tiniest drop coming out from it. Yep, the one with all the already mentioned stuff in the way.

I have been in that damn tank too many time with the screwdriver, feel like Scotty ("The engines can't take no more."), there's nothing left to tighten in there. Been on the outside, trying to tighten, but feels like it is. The nut is in an awkward place and the water connection hose...I don't want to disconnect it AGAIN right now.

Don't understand HOW little itty bitty drop is getting past all those tapped down rubber washers.

All I can think of the toilet wants my attention, the repeated poking around in it's nooks and crannies.

Or, need somebody with stronger hands to force a final twist. Probably this and eventually someone will (whenever covid lets up and have either BNL or Dad deal with it).

In the meantime, I keep on poking.

Maybe the toilet will send me roses.
