zimon66: (Yan Valentine #2 ("Hellsing"))
[personal profile] zimon66
Releasing the Hellsing manga every other month bloody well sucks - this wait since #1 until the middle of March is getting to be too much!!!

It's this "waiting" that drove me into Hellsing doujinshis and eBay - took the edge off for awhile but now I'm jonsing BAD for a Valentine Brothers fix.

Maybe the writer of the first ever Valentine Brothers fanfic (which by the way is so FUNNY!!!) over on http://www.fanfiction.net/ will update soon????!!!!!

I don't not like Luke..but...He could be cool, but he just.....Isn't.

Ah, there's another Valentine Brothers' fic there. Two in fact. But that one is better. Also Yan makes some cameo appearances sometimes (he was in a Mary Sue parody fanfiction, for instance).

After the many ramblings of Mr. Mitts about the WWI and your VB obsession I may someday write the plot of 'why Yan and Luke Valentine failed to be part of the Werewolves Squad.'

Well... most tend to write about their favorite characters. The one who has more centric fics is actually Seras Victoria, not Alucard (he appears in most, but he mostly there not as main but very side way) or Integral. Don't let me touch Iscariot or Walter, poor overlooked characters.

Yes, I said werewolves as the soldiers. I can imagine they trying to enter (perhaps to please their uncle/parents?) upon Luke's idea. And Yan screwed up some mission of sorts. Funny but historical like.

If either of those guys was driving and a little kid ran out in front of the car, would swerve to avoid hitting the kid.

Hn, I don't think so. I haven't seen any evidence that proves both of them are so decent. They were part of a nazi group who aimed to cause a big war after all. No one inside those ranks can be oh so moral ;)

Hn. Interesting theory. You should write it down. I have my own vision since inside the manga Yan isn't dark skinned. And the Major doesn't strike me as one who actually cares for gypsies or jews. He's more interested in the other part of the nazi ideology.

I believe it was the lack of "..." when you put lj user ;) That counted of as a marking error or whatever.

Indeed, Alucard could have been a werewolf soldier but he fought for the other side during WW II. And, if you adhere the Vlad Tepes theory, he used to hate arian people nor to mention he would have taken actions because his dear gypies were being eliminated. So I doubt it.

Doubtfully, I explain you why. There's nothing in canon that says Rip was a real vampire. That's a fandom thing based that she was cool looking. She was as artificial as all Millennium has. And she wasn't even that powerful, Joleen can eat Rip easily for what I heard (notice, I like Rip a lot but she wasn't the ace or the most powerful soldier Millennium had).

Anime thing probably. Integral in the black and white manga has a darker skin than Yan.

Actually, they did it because Hitler told them to do. For creating a world only for arian people. Is all in his books :/
