I just picked that particular egg because it was pretty, didn't even make the color connection to Yan.
Yes, I do have an interest in cannibalism but I have NO desire to eat people so you're safe - LOL!!!
Seriously, think what hooked me was thru reading summaries about horror movies (been a long time buff) and stumbling across the story about the Sawney Bean Family which was the real-life inspiration for "The Hills Have Eyes".
I'm not a diehard - don't really go looking for cannibal info just come across it over time. By the way Germany seems to have the "corner market" (pardon the pun) when it comes to cannibals.
Vampires laying eggs, believe it or not it's been done already - "Queen of Blood (1966)" - she was a blood drinking alien that did leave a clutch of eggs but Basil Rathbone found them before they hatched.
I haven't seen the movie in years but still remember (unless my memory has warpped a bit over time) Rathbone holding a tray of bloody pulsating eggs at the end of the movie.
