Winter Blahs

Seems like many on LJ have a case of it - the overall feel of many entries lately has been "blah".


I don't blame anybody for feeling like this, got a case of it myself.

We are all longing for Spring!!!


Decided to try and be somewhat entertaining - here's a list of items recently gotten from Amazon -


1) Dead Until Dark (Southern Vampire Mysteries) - the first in the series (think it's up to 6 volumes)

2) Undead and Unemployed - the follow-up to Unwed and Undead. Very funny reading and Betsy makes me think of saintedsin

3) Diabolo, Vol. 1 - Kinda of a horror anthology that centers around a few main characters - a set-up simular to Petshop of Horrors and Bride of Deimos

4) Gunslinger Girl Volume 1 - mr_mitts kept going on about it so decided to see what all the fuss was about - LOL!!!

5) Mr. Arashi's Amazing Freak Show - Suehiro Maruo (or as I like to call him - "Eyeball licker") manga that's not as weird as his other manga Ultra Gash Inferno. I'll have to post a few scans of AAFS's Mummy Man one of these days.

6) Ju-on (The Grudge) - Screw seeing the Hollywood remake starring Buffy, I wanted the original!!!
