Dark Walter postcards from Yahoo!Japan

Meant to post this a week ago (when they came in the mail) but along with being depressed about Alex I also got sick:(

Pet loss and congestion - two things I don't want to bring-in the next New Year's with.

Back to the postcards - They're publicity items put-out by YKO, probably to promote the one issue that had the same image of Dark Walter on the cover (that I wanted but wasn't able to get a copy so these postcards were a MUST-HAVE and why I felt the urge to take-on Yahoo!Japan). I have no idea if they were ever distributated/offered outside of Japan. Never heard anybody mention getting/seeing them at a Con and or on (US) eBay (I only do a search for Hellsing doujinshis instead of looking thru the entire eBay Hellsing listing because there's so many dvds titles on there. Big waste of time slogging thru pages of the same title offered again and again).

Seriously debated about giving one (I got five) as a prize for some sort of a contest, but Reality kicked-in. It's just way too much trouble making other people jump thru hoops for a damn postcard.

Thanx - it was worth the effort mastering Rinkya and Shopping Mall Japan to be able to bid on Yahoo!Japan.

This is my FIRST Hellsing non-doujinshi item I've gotten from an auction place.

There was an issue of Coyote offered twice, but at 12000 Yen (about 100+ US dollars) starting bid it was too rich for my blood.

This morning I saw a (translated) manga on sale called "Angel-Dust". I did a double-take, said "Oh no they didn't..." and noticed it was a totally different manga by someone else. It really got me for a moment though.

*nods* There is a not-related-to-Hirano manga using that same title (which makes Googling for info on the other one almost impossible).

I highly doubt if there will ever be an official translation of Hirano's early works since they are hentais.

Oddly enough, I was wondering why you didn't comment on the postcards when the post was first done. Thought for sure you'd be the first one to say something - LOL!!!
