[livejournal.com profile] sir_hellsing had the following Hellsing questions posted in her LJ for the Friend List to answer. Due to the number of questions, I though it better to answer them here and not clutter-up the thread on her post.

1- What is Heinkel/Yumie/Iscariot purpose on the storyline now? I mean, they must have one or they would have left/become cannon fodder.
To me they're 'wild cards'.

2- How will Captain&Butler step in the battlefield?
As soon as Alucard drops from exhaustion, they're going to move in and attack.

3- Where is Schrödinger?
Back on the zeppelin with Major and Doc. The ship is close enough so everybody aboard can watch Integra and Company without having to send catboy out to spy.

4- If Integral is taken, what would Millennium use her for (if she's used for something and not held prisoner)?
She will be taken (so Hirano can explain thru Major and Doc to her/us how Millennium makes vampires) as bait to lure Seras (Alucard will be in too weaken a state to help).

5- What happened to Walter, honestly?
Back in WWII during the time period he was facing Millennium alone, something happened before Alucard showed-up - Millennium may have been able to implant a hypnoic suggestion that stayed buried deep down inside all those years until the time came to trigger it via Captain (why else would ready-to-battle-to-the-death Walter suddenly stop fighting after making eye-contact with Captain)

6- Who is going to kill Major? And Doc?.
The one person they both trust - Captain (I have the feeling he's not exactly a willing member of their little group and he may have connections to the captured vampire).

7- If Alucard asked Integral to kill him, would she?
Yes - she still has Seras (and maybe Walter) so the request can be honored.

8- Does Seras need to drink Alucard's blood?
Yes - Alucard did say she needed to in order to become completely independant of him.

9- What is the state of the world while London burns?
Chaos in the other countries attacked by Millennium, confusion in the ones that aren't.

10- Aside of Alucard and Seras, is there any Dracul/Draculina left?
Yes - vampires can be very good at 'staying below the radar'. Wouldn't count on them showing-up to help at the eleventh hour, with Millennium's man-mades attacking and Alucard's enormous display of power, the true vampires are in hiding (fear of both Millennium who would capture them and humans who would kill them).

11- What does Alucard intent to do with Anderson (aside of shagging ;P)?
Probably attempt to save him - this will further weaken Alucard to the point of being a 'sitting duck' for Captain and Dark Walter.

12- Alucard, in Dawn chapters, is male or female (body speaking)?
Female only on the outside - still male on the inside.

This is very interesting. Could you please explain these more widely form me? what did you mean in your answer to number 6?

And also, about number 2; do you think Seras can take them on?

And BTW, 5 clicked inside my head so well that I have to thank you for it!

I always thought the Cap. was pokerfaced because he couldn't speak or because he was one of them true psychoes who have absolutely no emotions and care very little about anything.
I re-read the bit where Rip died and, though I noticed he was kind of secluded from the rest in his readction and the background was all black and mysterous, I can't say he had a different expression than when Schro shared his manuel. What did you see that made you think he was upset?

I was kind of pondering a fic about how Cap. got into Millennium and, there too, it's not exactly out of choice but rather after being hunted by Piggy.

So if Alucard is gone and it's only Seras against Cap. and Dark Walter, who's going to come to her aid?

I really gotta argue #10 in there....I wouldn't think any true vampire as a coward that's in hiding from Millennium. That may be the case for SOME of them, the cowardly ones, but seriously...any true vampire would have to have the ego and pride to stick up for themselves if they wanted. Especially since their enemy is a relic of WW2 and is clearly in the minority when you consider how many vampires are out there untouched by Hellsing.

Their absence in the fight, as far as I can attribute, is good storytelling on Hirano's part, and their general lack of care for London. There's a whole wide world out there, Millennium can't attack everything all at once.
