Father's Day, to me, has always signaled the beginning of summer. That came from my elementary school years ending before Dad could get stuck with crappy arts&craft gifts (unlike poor Mom).

That is so true. Even though when my kids were little I loved the crappy arts & crafts gifts. But, I'm a sentimental sap. ;p
