Oh bloody hell!!!
Jun. 1st, 2003 09:45 pmFirst my system ups and locks-up thanx to trying to find the proper pic of a chimera - I blame D&D (granddaddy of rpg) for this. What came-up pic-wise in the search was their version of a chimera (The 3 heads -one being incorrectly as a dragon- up front and sporting a big pair of bat-wings) and not the original Greek version. So lost a reply of sorts I was doing as a entry about 6 limbed animals - guess that'll be written at another time.
Now just found out that the ThunderCats/Battle of the Planets crossover is not one issue with two different covers but 2 different crossovers - one from TopCow the other from Wildstorm/DC. It wasn't made very clear that this was the case, if it wasn't for reading the recent reviews at (my favorite site for Gatchaman/G-Force/Battle of the Planets news) - http://www.chronicsite.com/gatchaman/comics.html - I wouldn't have figured it all out. Well, at least now I know why a couple of the members in BotP - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BotP/ - didn't seem to be on the same wavelength when others were posting about the TC/BOTP. Looks like the majority in the Group (myself included) had the TopCow version. It wouldn't be such a big deal except I already went and placed my monthly order for comics and it would have been nice to that little bit of info before not after the fact.
