I need to work on keeping this thing updated on a regular basis.

Anyway, spent after work on Friday hanging around a bridge over the Truckee River until 8PM waiting to see if the bats that use the bridge have migrated into the area yet - they haven't. Wasn't a total loss, spent the time strolling along the river watching hawks, magpies, and robins. A few people were fishing, dunno if they caught anything - few dog-walkers and a couple of joggers too. Although it's a pretty safe area, made the point of finding a hefty stick to carry around - said stick is sitting in the back of my car to be carried around once again on the 25th to once again check for bats.

Spent most of the weekend camped out on the couch snoozing, again, need to work on getting enough proper sleep during the week.

Did get around to re-dying my hair, so the weekend wasn't a total loss - not that it matter much since the weather was nasty, went and snowed on Saturday.

Damn groundhog!!! - LOL!!!

Got my scrying mirror last week - man that sucker is bigger than I thought, was expecting something smaller. It's the size of a salad plate, hell it looks like a bit like a salad plate - well if salad plates came in glossy black. Going to start trying to use that thing sometime soon. A member of a 'Kin Group I Co-mod gave some useful info on how I could "gaze' at it - because I wear contacts and can't go without them to see, couldn't use the usual method of gazing (i.e. stare at it) said member sugested -

<<<"Focused" meditations where you latch your eyes onto something until an image comes to you do not have to be done with the ABILITY to see. the focal point is just a reference to keep your conscious mind busy with your eyes while your superconscious mind does the communicating. It works with a blank black or white wall where there isn't anything to "see" in the first place. It isn't what your eyes are focused on that is the issue, it is what your mind is doing.

If you don't have problems with mirrors you can also try having a blank dark area behind you where you can see a considerable space in the mirror (say above and bhind your right or left shoulder). Let your physical eyes focus on
your own face but put your attention on your peripheral vision. Blink as often as is comfortable for you but keep your ATTENTION on the edges of your vision. This is a good way to "see" dragons, by the way. They tend to try to walk in
the spaces between sight and non-sight.>>>

That's the key, looking at the edges of my vision, not right at it and thus getting cross-eyed and loosing focus while blinking.

That's it for now.

Not unusual, to be so bloody tired and have the mind going like a Energizer bunny.

Went to bed way too late last night and the keyboard looks so soft and fluffy............also stuffed myself with Easter candy that arrived today from the parental units, probably should start seriously consider eating real food before hitting the sack.

The reason why I wanted to make a entry........well two reasons, the first one being that I need to post more in this thing and since this popped into my head just now.....reason number two, a couple of weeks ago I channeled Coyote. It wasn't planned it sorta just happened, but it was NICE having the Trickster inside making my veins sing and dance. Didn't pull any fast ones on anybody just found some things funny that weren't funny, wasn't laughing out loud the amusement was kept inside.

He hung around off/on for about 48 hours then gone. It wasn't a problem having him around for awhile, if anything really screwy happened Anubis (my totem) would have stepped in and dealt with things.

While Coyote was in, I tried to assume the godhead of Anubis a couple of times but he would get bumped out - it wasn't a big deal, Coyote wasn't doing any harm so Anubis let him stay.

I wanted to write all this down when it was happening but didn't - probably wouldn't have posted it at all if it wasn't for being so tried and loopy off of candy that caused it to re-surface.

Guess I want Coyote to pay another visit - another round of singing and dancing in my veins probably because somebody has me currently irked due to their coming off all the way beyond proud and I want to silently laugh long and hard with Coyote at said person's true nature - a fool with nose stuck-up so high in the air can't see the stairs leading down several floors until aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh........*howls of laughter*
