Weird weather and Titanic 02
Jun. 21st, 2023 07:48 pmThe weather's still nuts here. For the longest time, it rained (thunder storms to be exact and why I stayed offline). The temps were cool too, a lot of humidity. Now, somewhat normal, but should be warmer than it is.
Still don't know if this is a one time thing or a new normal.
Like everybody else, I'm following the sub saga. It really bothers me that this whole thing happened because "tourist attraction for the rich". You want go a sub ride and see astounding and amazing things? Disneyland's got one! With air conditioning!
Back when Virgin and Amazon guys did their dueling rockets; same damn thing. Loved how they tacked on "space exploration, etc.," right after tourism statement. By the way, if you want to be shot up into the air and touch the sky while experiencing weightless, there's this thing called a rollercoaster.
Such a waste of money that could be put to far better use, like funding legitimate scientific endeavors, or maybe even livable wage for us commoners. But NO! Rich like hoarding, lording and controlling over everything, while doing stupid shit (I'm going to create a right-wing news network, so everybody agrees with ME! I'm going to buy social media network and act like a god, I'm going to rent out an island during covid for a big party because I want to feel normal, I'm going to build a big tacky golf course then later use it for storing classified documents).
French had the right idea for that Revolution. Think they'll let us borrow the guillotine?
