zimon66: (Yan Valentine #2 ("Hellsing"))

Gotta update this thing more often, it's not from a lack of things to say but rather writing being a bit of a chore for me (which is why still haven't written anything for [livejournal.com profile] necrofreak or a couple of Hellsing fanfics got banging around upstairs. It's NOT a lack of ideas it just trying to bring the damn things into Reality, it's a slow painful birthing process for me).

Anyway, back to the this entry - scored a major coup'(sp?) on eBay last week, "Ja Aundessen #4" a very much in demand but not easy to find Alucard X Young Walter Hellsing yaoi doujinsh - should make for interesting veiwing (hehehe!!!). Also got a "buy now" Hellsing gag doujinshi because there looks to be an appearance of the Millennium Group in it. I usually go after doujinshis that got Valentine Brothers, Millennium Group, and or Young Walter in them. On that last one, where there's a YW there's a 50/50 chance of someone from MG making a appearance, plus the various types of AxYW that sometimes are in the doujinshis is a nice bonus since I do like yaoi.

Now about that light saber - was in Shop-Ko a few days ago, strolling thru the toy section just because and stoped in front of the "Star Wars' display. While reaching for an action figure (to read the character discription on back) knocked a light saber off it's hook and if that sucker was on probably would have taken my foot off (LOL!!!).

Picked it up see a button to push to "activate" but when pushed nothing happens. Tried a few others, still nothing, wasn't until I turned the (last one was fooling with) saber upside down to put it back (the hanging tab is on it's bottom) that the "beam" comes sliding out. They put a button that has the word "push" but couldn't be bothered to add "turn upside down while pushing button" - sheesh. Anyway, I'm by this time throughly bored and try to retract the beam but the stupid thing won't.

So here I am fighting with a toy hoping that nobody sees me (because, unlike playing with toys in public, fighting/struggling with them is NOT cool more so if somebody catches you like that). Somehow after several long minutes, manage to (by force) shove the beam back into the handle, replace the saber where it was hanging and quickly hightail before the beam comes slowly sliding out again (which it was).

Hey, at least I didn't break it, still fully functionally not my fault the button sticks - LOL!!!
