@#%!!! Scanner!!!

zimon66I CAN'T figure this out - when I scan a 8x10 doujinshi page, the image comes out HUGE!!! Have No idea how to fix this via the scanner, damn instructions won't tell me that bit of needed info.
Now, this wouldn't be a problem if I use Paint Shop Pro to resample but it won't open scans that big.
Paint and Imaging both will open the scan, and both say they can resample BUT the directions given are so sparse that they are USELESS!!!
So the alternatives are -
1) do copies but the image looses its soul
2) scan sections of a image and make mincemeal out of it
*grumble*
