People unclear on the concept

zimon66I'm a long time member of Meetup. Use to belong to the Goth one until egos killed it. Recently joined the anime and manga (weather permitting, I'll be getting to see them on the 19th at Barnes & Noble).
Signed up to get emails about various local meetups/interests as they happen. Easier than having to hit the site all the time for what's new. Tonight I logged in to double check the manga meetup time and decided to take a closer look at some of the interests that were mentioned in the latest email.
From the local (Reno, NV) member list for Vampire: The Masquerade Meetups. Keep in mind that this meetup is for gamers. Has nothing to do with being a real vampire, is not a meeting for real vampires and that they have their own group.
"I want these local Meetups because i am a chick who has a fetish for blood and would like to meet someone who likes it too. I think they are so Dark and Sexy and i just love vampires, and i would consider me one."
