Most boring vampire movie EVER!!!
Apr. 21st, 2012 04:21 pmI've watched a lot of vampire movies over the years. Some are good, some are bad, but none were a total snooze fest. Dull as dirt title character in PBS broadcast of Count Dracula kind of came close for me. He sucked and not in a good way, but everybody else in it was good (especially the Brides) and that saved the show.
Last night, Lust for a Vampire took the ZZZZZ crown. 90 minutes went on FOREVER!!! I kept nodding off about half way thru it. Towards the end, three times I put the dvd in reverse to see what I missed, only to nod off again.
The worst part: Made by Hammer Film Productions. They're a big part of both film and horror history. They made Christoper Lee and Peter Cushing household names. They've made a lot of great vampire movies. Made some bad ones (looking at you, Dracula A.D. 1972). Never made a total snooze...oh, wait.
