Recently watched:

Trouble Every Day - French (don't know why there's a bunch of Asian scrawl all over the cover and in menu) made. Has a kind of Cat People type plot, but being horny results in going cannibal instead of turning kitty. Not a lot of dialogue. Beatrice Dalle is semi-nutty in real life, which is probably why she does such a great job playing a creepy cannibal.

Penumbra - Moral of the story is don't be an obnoxious person cause Karma will bite you in the ass.

How to Train Your Dragon - Entertaining; expected a little more from it, though.

The Gorgon / Scream of Fear - Seen Gorgon bunch of times already. Got this for Scream. It was ok. Christopher Lee's role is really small.

In the Folds of the Flesh - When you're a Italian female with murder in mind, killing comes naturally, but not with a gun toting fat guy. No matter how many ample opportunities there is to knock him off, you won't act on any of them.

The Wicker Tree - CRAP!!! The not secret nuclear power plant is causing sterility in the village. Resorting to paganism to fix the problem makes zero sense. Popular singer who's going to missed for sure as the sacrifice makes zero sense. Scotland: Land of no angels or smart people.

Redline - Fun anime. Got a few dangling threads. Two sentient bioweapons, tearing the place up - never hear about them again. Some characters - never hear about them again, either. Maybe there's going to be a sequel someday.

Feed - Feederism. Was the obnoxious girlfriend really necessary?

Death Walks at Midnight - Giallo with a giggling German.

I like your bite-size, amusing reviews. My favorite was the one of "The Wicker Tree." Popular singer as human sacrifice whose disappearance is likely to be noticed...LOL!!

Haven't seen The Wicker Man, but have heard of it. I think it was supposed to be a good movie?

Love the icon. :) And I don't have issues with Nicholas Cage (maybe I haven't seen enough movies, LOL), but I hate remakes.

In the Folds of the Flesh

Now that's a weird one, even by giallo standards.
