Or instant coasters, or dog toys, etc.,.

For the second time, I've gotten a cracked Netflix dvd. Not talking a itty bitty crack, either. This looks like intentional damage, as if somebody tried to snap it in half. I've also received dvds that would skip/stick because of past person's rough handling.

Royally ticks me off. Just because it doesn't belong to you, doesn't mean you can treat a rental like shit.

GRRRRR!!!

I've had quite a few cracked DVDs. I tried to destroy a DVD once and it's hard work. They're extremely difficult to break. I can't see how they can get accidentally broken. It really annoys me as well.

I haven't gotten too many cracked DVD's from Netflix but have received a few over the past 7 years that I'be been a member. Several scratched ones too. Makes me wonder what people do to them. Just like how messy people leave the fridge at work sometimes...are they like that at home? Probably not

I used to hate getting a damaged CD, because I'd report it and sent it back, request the movie again-

And receive the same damaged CD, complete with notes.

at least you are blaming the correct source, though I'm sure some are cracked in shipping. I work at a library and had many patron complaints directed at US about their horrible disappointment that the disc skips, is cracked, etc.. like as if I'm the one tossing them around for shits n giggles. I've also been blamed for people's shitty DVD players.

assuming they aren't just outright stolen, of course.

Pet peeve of mine too.

I just don't rent anything anymore, mind you, I do buy two or three films a week! ;)
