The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec. Ever since io9 posting (included the French trailer) about it back in 2010, I've been wanting to see this movie. When the dvd recently became available on Amazon, I made a beeline for Netflix to check their listing and TADA!!!

This French movie is based off the popular French comic of the same name. The movie trailer really appealed to me (strong female lead, pterosaurs on the loose, and talking mummies!!!). The (1-4 volumes movie's plot comes from, were done back in mid 70's) comic; what little I've seen, next to vibrant live-action movie, it looks kinda of flat colored and stiff.

Got the option to watch subtitled and dubbed. I have no problem with either, but some people don't like one or the other for whatever reason.

Off to watch now!!!

I mostly prefer subtitles. Probably because I'm soured by Bruce Lee movies where he was dubbed in by someone who sounds like Roger Moore.
