I'm sitting on posting about Charter's Free On Demand, The Strain, FX, and other related stuff since last week.

FX ain't been playing nice! That's why I'm sitting *grumble*.

EDIT: FX got their act together sort of.

EDIT EDIT: Nope, haven't got their act together. Too busy riding the high horse.

Just the premier. FX is holding out on episodes for Free Demand. They're also only granting select cable companies access to their site's Instant Watch.

Guess what? They finally put up the next episode. Must have felt my projected negative vibes.

Waiting wouldn't bug me if they hadn't slapped up the premiere on Demand shortly after it aired.

FX is notorious for not having episodes up after they air. when we used to have cable, we'd have to wait eight or nine days AFTER initial air date to watch a show from FX. it's ridiculous. and people say "oh, their website usually gets episodes up quickly!" NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE.

of course, i'm so behind on FX shows, it's not even pretty (i only watched half of the last season of archer, missed the last episode of the previous season of always sunny, and didn't get to watch the entire recent season of louie. bummer.)

How right you are! The latest episode got yanked off of Demand. It wasn't even up for 24 hours.

Because Charter isn't on their cable list (FX has been part of Charter basic/expanded since since the early 90's), I can't watch it on their site.

I remember when FX was a no nothing channel. Seems to me, ever since they got some fame thanks to "American Horror Story", they've gotten a little big for their britches ("We're right up there with HBO!" - No, you're not, FX). First they have issues with Hulu so no Instant Watch on their site, now they're pulling all these other stunts.
