Couple hours ago, I found out about Robin Williams (RIP) via a OT thread on this Reality Tea post (Hello, Surreal).

Immediately checked some other sites (Topless Robot and Dlisted to make sure it wasn't a hoax (it wasn't).

He was the last person I expected to "intentionally exit".

About two weeks ago, I watched One Hour Photo,(which I had wanted to see again for awhile), and naturally, I looked up all the actors in it. I LOVE that movie, and I really think that Robin Williams had such incredible depth.

I followed links and different articles and read about how he struggled with alcoholism, especially after the death of Christopher Reeve. He was very broken to have lost him. They were very close friends.

It's not that I'm not surprised by this, but that I was really hoping it never came to this. It's very sad.

I used to watch him on Mork and Mindy with my dad. I was always a fan.

So sad and tragic. He is one of my favorite actors and in my top 3 of comedy. What really hurts is to think how much pain and horror he was experiencing and came to the conclusion no one could help.
