Fully recovered from Thanksgiving (food coma, turned into holiday depression, stuck on couch with way too much TV).

Not all of the four days was "blah". Recent Netflix dvd was three episode of Penny Dreadful. REALLY enjoyed it! Eagerly awaiting the next dvd.

Is anyone else annoyed by Billie Piper's awful Irish character accent? About 85% of what came out of her mouth-of-marbles I couldn't understand. I'm convinced some of the other characters have sex with her just to avoid conversation XD

To be honest, it was way more of a "meh" feeling than a full out depression. Parents left early, pouring rain, too much food & too little physical activity, TV rerun overkill, too much time on hands, too much time away from internet = perfect "meh" storm.

I have to admit I've never been a big fan of Billie Piper really.
I haven't watched Penny Dreadful yet, though!

I adore Penny Dreadful. There are two Billie camps, the one that hates her Irish accent and her mumbling and the camp that thinks it is ok. I am kind of in the middle. Liked her much better as the series got further on. But, yeah...

ADORE Vanessa. Her possession scene at the seance is the best I have ever seen.

I actually have a great attachment to all the characters pretty much.

Agreed on Vanessa! She could pick her nose for an hour and I'd happily watch.

Eva Green is one of the reasons why I had to watch the series. Saw Cracks couple years ago and was impressed by her performance.

She was brilliant in Camelot as well. Her Morgana is my favorite interpretation and always will be.
