Mother Nature hates tomato plants.
Mar. 28th, 2016 08:29 pmSome of you mentioned having Winter's last HURRAH! dumped on you recently. Today was my turn.
Monday/First Day of Spring! thru Friday: Lovely Spring weather.
Saturday: Lovely Spring weather continues.
Sunday/Easter: Kept switching from nice to not so nice.
Late Sunday/Early Monday: Awakened by the sound of heavy rainfall - no big deal, right?
Later that Monday morning: So MUCH Snow. More coming down. Big frickin deal!
Accidents on all the highways (saw that on the local news). Slow going on the surface streets and visibility not the best (as witnessed by yours truly). Minor fender bender happened right next to me at a stop light. The cherry on the shit sundae is the plows either didn't get to or barely did surface streets. Usually, they're pretty on top of things. I guess they got tied up with trying to clear the highways, and the accidents left and right every 2 seconds didn't help any.
Coming home was a piece of cake. Once the temperature went up (43 degrees) later in the day, roads cleared.
March comes in like a lion and goes out like a mutant lamb.
