Was thinking of maybe turning on the sprinklers today, but put it off for awhile longer until get the backyard mowed. Haven't been able to mow because whenever I have the time to do it, snows or rains. All that watering, grass has gotten so damn lush and long, some of it goes past my knees - I'm 5'8".

Guess what happened later today weather-wise that was predicted as "20% chance or less"? Rain. Thunder boom and five minutes later the downpour.

If this keeps up, wildebeests may migrate in.

It's been too warm for snow, but I still wouldn't rule it out for the higher elevations. One of the ski resorts (Squaw Valley) is staying open till the end of May.
