zimon66Was poking around on Something Awful and besides the lovely write-up on science creating a bi-sexual butterfly (yep, it's true) and the always entertaining "Photoshop Phridays" (for the week of 12/18 - holiday album covers) - on of SA's "Awful Link of the Day" was a site for LotR adult fanfic. I only read what SA had put up as an example taken from the site but it made me laugh so damn hard because of something a LJ friend wrote recently about LotR III and a few of the "tender momments" she noticed (and had to poke fun at) among the hobbits.
Ok, I dunno how much hobbitXhobbit or hobbitXwhatever is on there (NOT looking thru the site to find out - ignorance is bliss, found that out the hard way after working up the nerve to read on AdultFanFic.com a "Alvin and the Chipmunks" story, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again will I do that).
OK, fanfic (of any rating) on "Battle of the Planets/Gatchaman" and "Hellsing" because I'm a fan of both shows, have little trouble handling - but when it's a series/movie I'm not that into and or interested in, it just comes across disturbing when there's a bunch of sex in the story.
Never denied being a hypocrite - LOL!!!

Date: Dec. 23rd, 2003 01:44 am (UTC)It was seeing Yan when the series was playing on "Action Channel" that got me hooked on "Hellsing" - big advocate of the Valentine brothers getting their fair share of attention from Hellsing fans. Also taking a interest in the Millennium Group thanx to the "Valentine connection" - (that doesn't mean however I like actual Nazis, big difference between dark tongue in cheek Japanese comic book fantasy characters and real life "goose-steppers").
I usually before logging onto the Net turn off Yahoo IM due to it eating up too much of my system's fast memory - so chatting online isn't a go - haven't used the damn thing since..........don't even remember, cripes one of these days going to get rid of the bloody thing.
