It's almost SPRING!!!

I'm so done with Winter this year. Really thought climate change and greenhouse effect meant getting warmer and humid kinda like the Amazon, not crazy-ass snow dumps. Last week I drove thru a blizzard on the way home. Snow, thank the gods, didn't stick, but visibility was BAD and there were idiots driving without their lights on. Yes, still daylight out (time sprung ahead the day before), so whole lot of gray instead of night with the white. No excuse for not using damn car lights though - how the hell do you expect people to see your rear end and avoid hitting it?! Taillights stand out long after your car 'disappears' from sight.


Daylight Saving must DIE!!! Has long ceased to be useful (was it really ever?). All it does is annoy and confuse everybody. California is thinking of doing away with it. I hope they succeed because being a major state, rest of the US will have to follow suit. No offense to Arizona and Hawaii (who kicked DS to the curb some time ago), but you guys don't carry enough weight to majorly sway public opinion.

Did you know half the world doesn't do Daylight Savings? All the more reason to jettison this twice yearly stupid back 'n forth hour crap.

I hate daylight saving. I'm glad that Western Australia kicked it to the curb years ago.

People around here have a bad habit of driving without their lights on in rain and snow too and it drives me up the wall! Idiots are just asking to get hit!
