zimon66Post President Biden, it's amazing how things have changed on the political front. To think, not that long ago, so much ranting, confusion, scariness, and little hope.
Now it's not a peep out of Annoying Orange, kicking his supporters off of various social media (Pillow Guy banned from Twitter a few days ago - HA!), rounding up the Capital terrorists, and calling out the right on all their decades of shittiness - especially the white supremacy, and dealing with the damage 45 left in his wake.
And lots of Bernie and the peacefulness of mittens memes.
Not all roses though. Still got the pandemic, economy in a slump, impeachment #2 may not stick, arguing who controls the Senate, Donnie could start spouting off someday, etc., but at least now there's some actual adults in charge who are dedicated with trying to fix things and for the better. So there is reason to be cautiously optimistic that better days are ahead.
La Nina decided to go on vacation. This resulted in two major storms here. I've had to do, for the second time in a row, take a snow day from work. So much got dropped down, it's been safer to stay home. Go out to shovel, few hours later, it's back to looking pre-shoveled. Bad enough for the snowplow to make a daily pass AND in both directions. Usually, they only do the main arteries of the housing tract and side streets you are on your own.
I appreciate the plowing, but would have been happier not to have the big drift left in front of my driveway. Along with digging out the walks and driveway, had to clear a path out on the street. No quick job. Regular flat snow shovel couldn't cut it; job for the heavy duty big scooper/push one. Lots of heavy snow to move. Kinda of melting, adding to the weight. Every time I stepped out of the garage with shovel in hand, it start coming down again. I dunno if it was me or the equipment jinxing.
Snow a bit again earlier. Just enough to coat the surface. Hopefully there's nothing left in the tail-end as the storm moves out. Another one is suppose to happen on Monday - UGH!
While snowed in, discovered something most wonderful while killing time surfing the Net. Resident Evil 8/Village is coming out in May. I'm not into video games, have a barely passing interest in Resident Evil franchise. However, I, along with many others, have become enraptured by the Tall Lady aka Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. Eight feet in height, vampric, sexy mama! She is so freakin intriguing! Everybody is going gaga for her.
Oh, yeah, she's got (normal sized) "daughters". They're ok, but definitely overshadowed by her and I don't mean by height. They're more or less what you'd expect in this type of a game - creepy sexy gothy vampire girls. "Mom" on the other-hand, is something completely different.

There's a popular tag/remark in regards to her: Step on Me. My preference is Aoife Wilson's "Freddy Krueger got sexy". Here's her video play thru of Resident Evil 8's teaser "Maiden".

We've not had a lot of snow here and what we had always was gone after a few hours.
As I don't have to drive at the moment I didn't mind the snow ... haha ...
