Still have no idea WHEN I'm going to get vaccinated

Local fire fighters are doing vaccination sites during the week, but you have to go online a few days in advance during the week to book an appointment. HELLO, I'm at work with an early start time because got a ton or orders and not at home with my computer.

Even if I was, the appointments probably get snapped up faster than tickets for Burning Man - using that as example because 1) it's true, from what I've heard, and 2) happen to be on my mind if it's a go for this year. Artown is officially a go for this July. No word yet if Burning Man and other upcoming big event are.

Governor has said that everything will be opened on June 1st. Social distancing won't be necessary but masks will still be mandatory. So business returning to almost as usual.

Hopefully, I get the damn shots by then. Yep, shot plural. Although I haven't had a period for two years and only a tiny number of women have been hit with rare blood-clots, I'm going to pass on the single shot. I'll go with the "Dolly Parton", lots of people, her included, have gotten it and are OK.

Same here. We are reopening on June 1st. They have already started making provisions at the theatre. I will keep good thoughts for you and your shot..

They're vaccinating over 60s here now ... and then that's it with groups and it's free for all. Great. Just ... great.
Will be fun trying to get an appointment. Why, oh why don't they have an over 50s group???

Having to keep masks on still means nobody can eat or drink anything anywhere but at home though.

What about booking at a pharmacy or through a hospital system instead of a mass vaccination site? Or... here in Georgia, there are facebook groups full of volunteers who will hunt down and book vaccine appointments for anyone who needs help. I think a lot of states have similar groups. Good luck!

Don't have a FB account, and booking thru a to local Walgreens got me irritated. Apparently I have to make a frickin account first complete with password. I shouldn't have to do that! Not interested in using Walgreen site to buy stuff online, and I resent being forced into making an account for it.

Other pharmacies near me at Safeway and Raley's aren't doing it. Nor is my local CVS.

So far, from what I've seen, this whole vaccine jazz is needlessly intrusive, complicated, and or time consuming.

I don't know why it's like this. Should be easy to set-up and close by.
