Since my last post, I haven't had to wear a mask anywhere, including work. It's so nice not having that damn thing plastered to my face for hours on end.

Some co-workers are still masked because...I dunno, I don't ask. With the vaccine so easy to get now, you'd think people would jump at the chance to loose the mask once and for all. The recent anti-vaxxer nonsense ("Got working ovaries? Will make you sterile") may have gotten to a few. Given how destructive covid is, no chance at kids should be the least of your worries. I think of this one woman (around in her thirties, good health, marathon runner) who had to get a double lung transplant. I'm sure she wishes the vaccine had been available at the time.

There's a book coming out at the end of this month, Nightmare Scenario: Inside the Trump Administration's Response to the Pandemic That Changed History. Makes me happy knowing the full truth will soon be coming out in b&w and read all over. Annoying Orange can't do jackshit about it. Not even a single tweet - HAHAHA!!!

I don't understand why people don't get vaccinated ... the alternative is ... not nice.

Here we have more vaccine than willing people, it's a bit weird... especially since the young ones don't seem to want to get it since in their eyes it won't do them any harm.... I still have to wear masks in public transport and when out and about outside my own office, but not the nastly ffp2 ones just mouth nose protection cloth ones... that's better... but still...

the book sounds lovely :D are you going to get it?
