Don't like the holidays!

There, I said it.

The pointless time change, Xmas encroaching on Halloween's turf (poor Thanksgiving barely has any breathing room), damn seasonal change (I HATE the cold, snow, and ice), I just don't enjoy them anymore. Once Groundhog's Day rolls around, I'm so over it and hoping for an early Spring.

So far, been ok. Time change wasn't jarring, thanks to the weather being (so far) moderate instead of previous whiplash - I REALLY want the current temps to more or less stay at what they're at. Cold, snow, and ice can stick to the higher elevations, where the ski resorts are.

If climate change does make it warmer here, I'm all for it. Fuck Winter!

I definitely don't need snow either.
I don't mind the holidays per se, but the year end always is stressful at work. Meh!

I live in Calif where it doesn't really get cold enough to snow, but there are a few things I don't care for about Xmas. I don't like the greed, I don't like certain people talking to me like I'm either a little kid or really stupid, I don't like certain people using this time of year as an excuse to be dickheads about religion, I don't like being alone almost all the time and there are certain movies, TV specials and songs I'm REALLY sick of.
