Spent three hours with a toilet

No I wasn't sick. The fill valve needed to be replaced. The seal inside went bad and causing water to drain into the bowl. Should have been a 10 minute job, but thanks to the frickin old style locknut (newer ones have pair of "wings" that make them far easier to grip), couldn't unscrew the damn thing. Long story short, had to remove the tank and saw it off. Then had to redo the tank bolts. May have to replace the tank to bowl gasket later on. Everything's fine now.


Not happy to hear the latest about poor Gaza. Sending the people to Somalia, famous for poverty and pirates - yeah, no.

Worse still, Gaza is looking increasing like a future Sun City.

Ugh, the whole thing about Gaza makes me feel sick.
