Ho-hum weekend
Apr. 18th, 2004 08:41 pmAll because I did nothing but catch-up on missed sleep - I REALLY need to work on getting enough sleep during the week.
Anyway, as a result
q_slash sorry but my story bits are going to be late:(
I also didn't do anything for
hellsingreviews. The one story I wanted to review, have to wait for a second chapter on it *grumble* and I was so looking forward to making observations about Alucard's badly decorated bedroom.
Good news from Amazon - Hellsing Manga #2 has been shipped, so hopefully will have a package Monday or Tuesday and I can FINALLY see the Valentine Brothers in all their manga glory.
Scored yet another Hellsing doujinshi on eBay with no problems i.e. the guy I like to call "De Jerk". Said person has in the past come in at the very last minute (1 minute or less) of an auction's end time and posted a buck higher. There's isn't a huge bidding war on most of the doujinshis (usually only one bid, unless it's something like Solid&Etc or Alucard X Young Walter) also he's pulled this stunt numerous times on both me and other people in the past, and from observing his habits it looks to me he isn't a collector or someone who enjoys "bid-sparing" - what's happening is this guy is someone who simply enjoys taking something away from somebody else, that's the thrill for him. So as a result I place within 48 hours a high bid, that way if he pulls this crap and gets away with it, winds-up paying a high price. Really NAILED his ass last month, a doujinshi going for $5.99 thanx to me he wound-up paying &50 for it - since then he seems to have learned from the expensive lesson that I'm not somebody he can pull his bully-tactics on:) Pity I can't put a stop to his treatment of other bidders, because what he's doing while legal is morally wrong - here's someone who's been on eBay since 1999 and wrongly thinks that the Hellsing Doujinshi Section is all his and tries to drive everybody else off with the underhanded tactics - his days of bullying when it comes to me are over, I almost gave in and threw in the towel but then realized that's what he probably wanted me to do, so I decided was going to fight back and have so far done pretty well:)
OK, that's it for now.

Spoiler Y.K.O
Date: Apr. 18th, 2004 09:18 pm (UTC)Zolen/Joleen is about to kill Seras. Pip saves her, risking his life. Joleen mortally wounds Pip. He lays beside Seras and kisses her. Then says something like: "We will defeat Joleen together." Japanese reader friend told me he (perhaps) is offering Seras his blood in his last words to be strong and overcome Joleen.
So Pip either die or become a vamp. Depends of his state of... purity.
After this no one can deny Pip liked Seras in a way besides the looks. He risked his DAMNED life for her. All heroic ;_;
Good luck with the doujinshi hunting!

Date: Apr. 18th, 2004 11:30 pm (UTC)Unless there's a double-standard, or maybe nothing at all about "needing to be a virgin to become a vampire" and Alucard was just yanking Seras's chain (it does sound like something insensitive he would do) at the almost time of her human death.
Highly doubt Pip means coming back as a ghoul.
Nuts, if Pip does become a vampire that throws-off my "rpg of one" idea on Luke Valentine and Seras getting close *grumble*

Date: Apr. 19th, 2004 12:10 am (UTC)Was going to have Seras be the one to bond with him after "regurgitation" since Alucard wouldn't be interested in the needed aftercare-giving and not physically safe for Walter to do.
